Well, five years under the bridge for Boozoo Bajou since we started this loose project sometime during the hot summer of 1997 under the guidance of the Stereo Deluxe record label. Lots of music, lots of vibes, lots of hours in the studio, only a handful of fine remixes and quite a few happy faces on DJ gigs all over the place. For real we did not expect to spread that music all over the world (who did the bootlegs in Thailand?) as it came originally out of having a good time in the countryside surrounding our hometown Nuernberg. So now is the time to give something back by doing a tribute to other musicians and producers who are more or less trodding down the same fine line which simply means to make soulful music for nowadays music lovers who are rather suffering and listening than lounging.
